The most anticipated night on the Australian music industry calendar, the 31st annual ARIA Awards is set to take place on Tuesday 28th November, and guests will be enjoying some of Accolade’s finest brands as part of an official wine partnership.

This exciting sponsorship will allow more than 1,000 celebrities and guests to sample premium wines from Hardys and Grant Burge, as well as sparkling favourites from House of Arras, Croser and Yarra Social.

Chris Flaherty, General Manager Australia, New Zealand & Pacific for Accolade Wines, said that this partnership provides an opportunity to celebrate the best of Australian music with the best of Australian wines.

“The breadth of our premium portfolio which also includes one of Australia’s most awarded sparkling wine brands, House of Arras, means that our wines accompany many occasions and celebrations – and the ARIAs is no different. It’s an exciting night for music fans and we look forward to supporting all of the finalists,” he said.

The ARIAs is the flagship event on the Australian music calendar – a celebration of all that is great in local music.

The sparkling wine sponsorship will be leveraged through two main activations. The main one will be on the Sky Terrace with the ‘Yarra Social Garden Bar’. Existing structures and furniture will be re-branded with Yarra Social colours and branding. The staff at the Star will be provided with Yarra Social aprons and t-shirts to wear. There will also be a creative Boomerang Booth where guests can sit on a Yarra Social swing and capture their own user generated content to generate and amplify social chatter.

In the foyer of the Darling Hotel where celebrities and musicians congregate before setting off for the red carpet, guests will be served Croser. The activation here includes the creation of a three metre tall ARIA award constructed from Croser NV bottles. The structure will allow attendees to pose and be photographed with an ARIA of their own while holding a glass of Croser NV.

To create consumer excitement around the ARIAs sponsorship, a social competition on the Yarra Burn Facebook page will give one lucky person the chance to win two General Public tickets to attend this not-to- be missed night with a stellar line-up of artists all performing live.
