About the Brand
From around the world we’ve selected grape varieties that produce excellent fruit in the South Australian climate. Banrock Station wines typify everything Australian; bold, generous and full of character.
Our range embraces well-loved traditional styles and innovations for today’s adventurous palates. From table wines to the ever popular refreshing and spritzed moscatos, and sparkling. New takes on ‘old’ varieties, such as our enticing Shiraz Rosé, capture the mood of contemporary dining and wine enjoyment.
Mediterranean varieties are well suited to the warmer climatic conditions of our vineyards in addition to offering an adventure to the senses. Raised in Australian soil and sun, these wines blend their Mediterranean heritage with the unique nuances of our country.
A unique pairing of Good Earth and Fine Wine, Banrock Station’s climate is ideal for producing wonderful fruit-driven, innovative wine styles, all of which can be enjoyed at our Wine Centre or over a relaxed lunch enjoying local produce dining at our café on the deck overlooking the wetland and network of self-guided walking trails.
The vineyards at Banrock Station are surrounded by an internationally significant wetland environment on the banks of the ‘Mighty Murray’, Australia’s largest river. We like to think that the abundance of local flora and fauna – some of which are rare and endangered – contribute to the character of our wines where fruity notes and a playfulness on the palate are hallmarks of the Banrock range.
The Riverland region provides ideal warm climate grape growing conditions for a range of varieties, and it’s not unusual to see kangaroos and wallabies sheltering from the hot summer sun in the shade of our grape vines. Tourists and locals alike can also be found sheltering nearby in our award winning Banrock Station Wine and Wetland Centre with its stunning deck overlooking the wetlands and network of self-guided walking trails.
