Accolade Wines’ premium portfolio was recognised with another outstanding set of results from the Royal Hobart International Wine Show.

There was an exceptionally strong showing from the Apple Isle wines of Eddystone Point, Bay of Fires and House of Arras which collected six trophies between them.

Not to be outdone, Brookland Valley, one of Margaret River’s most decorated producers, also tasted success with three trophy wins, bringing Accolade Wines’ total trophy haul to nine.

Bay of Fires was awarded the Most Successful Tasmanian Exhibitor Trophy and Eddystone Point collected the prestigious Etihad Trophy for Best Pinot Noir of Show for the 2014 Eddystone Point Pinot Noir and Best Red Wine of Show Trophy, resulting in five gold medals from five capital city wine shows in 2015.

House of Arras rounded out the Tasmanian success with the 2003 House of Arras EJ Carr Late Disgorged awarded Best Tasmanian Wine, Best Tasmanian Sparkling Wine, and Best Sparkling Wine trophies.

The 2014 Brookland Valley Chardonnay collected the Best Chardonnay, Best White Wine in Show and Chairman’s Best Wine of Show trophies, adding to a gold medal from the 2015 Royal Sydney Wine Show and International Wine Challenge.

Paul Lapsley, Accolade Wines’ Chief Winemaker says the team couldn’t be happier with the set of results from this show.

”Nine trophies and 11 gold medals for our portfolio caps off what has been a stellar year for us. Our viticultural and winemaking team work bloody hard, their passion and dedication is evidenced in these wines.”
